@nickmoh, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code B8093B62 typically appears when there's a scanning-related issue, often accompanied by a blue screen on the printer.
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Perform a Power Reset
- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Press and hold the power button on the printer for 15 seconds.
- Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid using a surge protector).
- Reinsert the cartridges and power on the printer.
This helps clear temporary memory issues that may be causing the error.
Update Printer Firmware
Outdated firmware can sometimes cause scanning errors. Please follow the steps in this HP guide to update your printer firmware: Official HP® Support
Reinstall Printer Software
If the issue persists:
- Uninstall the current printer software from your PC.
- Restart your computer.
- Download and reinstall the latest version of the HP Smart app or full feature software from: Official HP® Support
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device during setup so HP Smart can detect the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
