Hi @JUPITERFL1

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining the issue—when your HP ENVY 6000 series printer refuses to print even after a reset and clearing the queue, it’s often due to a lingering setup block, driver miscommunication, or account-related restriction.

Let’s walk through a structured recovery path to get it working again:

Step-by-Step Fix for HP ENVY 6000 Not Printing

1. Check HP Smart Setup Status

  • Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
  • Make sure the printer is fully set up and linked to your HP account.
  • If it shows “Setup Incomplete” or “Needs Attention,” remove and re-add the printer using the printer code (found on the info sheet or inside the app).

2. Confirm Printer Is Online and Ready

  • Print a Printer Information Report by pressing the Information button.
  • Check that:
    • Wi-Fi is connected
    • IP address is valid (e.g., 192.168.x.x)
    • Status shows “Connected”

3. Update Firmware and Drivers

  • Visit the official support page:
HP ENVY 6000 Series Drivers & Firmware
  • Download and install:
    • Latest firmware
    • Full feature driver for your operating system
  • Restart your printer and PC after installation

4. Try Printing from a Different App

  • Open a document in Word, PDF viewer, or browser and try printing directly.
  • If the printer only responds to the Copy button or info sheet, it may still be in setup lock.

5. Access Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • Enter the printer’s IP address in a browser (e.g., http://192.168.x.x)
  • Navigate to Web Services and ensure they’re enabled
  • You can also check for firmware updates and reset options here

You’ve already done the hard part—let’s make sure your printer responds reliably and gets back to work.
