My Hp OfficeJet Pro 8035 printer stopped printing duplex and I can't figure out why.

I bought this printer off Amazon in July 2020.  It worked fine with duplex printing to start with.  A couple weeks ago it stopped duplex printing even though my settings are set for two-sided printing.  I really need it to duplex print.

 

I tried to get support from HP, but it wanted the serial and product number.  When I entered the product number, I was given the notice that the warranty had expired on April 30, 2020.  I didn't even own this printer then.  It said I was getting a new printer when I ordered it.  Totally pissed off.

To assist better -

  1. Are you able to 2sided copies using the printer?
  2. What is the paper type and size you are using?
  3. What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?

Meanwhile, You can raise a warranty dispute using the link below or contact HP phone support to get the warranty updated.

Follow the instructions below to reach the phone support team

 

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
