Hi @Larry651107,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e printer might have "Prompt before Printing" or "Confirm Print" enabled in the printer settings. Here’s how to fix it.

Check Paper Handling Settings

  1. On the Printer Screen:
    • Go to Setup (gear icon).
    • Select Preferences or Printer Setup.
    • Look for an option like "Prompt before Printing" or "Paper Mismatch".
    • If found, disable it.

Check Printer Properties on Your HP ProDesk Computer

  1. On your HP ProDesk (Windows PC):
    • Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
    • Right-click on HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e and select Printing Preferences.
    • Go to the Advanced tab.
    • Look for an option like "Print Confirmation" or "Pause Before Printing".
    • Disable it and Apply changes.

Update/Reinstall Printer Drivers

  1. Go to HP's website and download the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e.
  2. Uninstall old drivers:
    • Open Device Manager (Right-click Start → Device Manager).
    • Expand Print queues, right-click your printer, and select Uninstall device.
    • Restart your computer and install the new drivers.

Perform a Printer Reset

  1. Unplug the printer from power while it is on.
  2. Wait 1-2 minutes.
  3. Plug it back in and turn it on.
  4. Try printing again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
