Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought a refurbished printer which shipped with new genuine HP ink cartridges, but they are not setup cartridges. Printer displays "use setup cartridges" and I can't clear that screen and continue setup. "Return to retailer" as suggested by HP Support isn't an option.

The icons are not illuminated but if you touch at the location of Home and Back, it will work. 

 

If it doesn't, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this.

I have sent you a private message with the steps to bypass the setup ink message which is specific to your printer. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

I cannot do this. There are no “home” or “back” buttons visible, only the message about the setup cartridges. I am extremely frustrated.
