Hi @Vicky155,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075 All-In-One Printer is not printing in the proper color code, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check the Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that your ink cartridges are not low or empty. You can check the ink levels from the printer software on your computer or from the printer's control panel.

Clean the Printhead:

  • From the Printer Control Panel:
    1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the setup icon (gear).
    2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
    3. Touch Clean Cartridges or Clean Printhead.

Align the Printhead:

  • Misaligned printheads can cause color issues.
    1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the setup icon (gear).
    2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
    3. Touch Align Printhead and follow the on-screen instructions.

Check for Printer Software Updates:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer software and drivers installed. Visit the HP Support website to download and install any available updates for your printer.

Print a Diagnostic Page:

  • Printing a diagnostic page can help identify issues with the ink cartridges or printhead.
    1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the setup icon (gear).
    2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
    3. Touch Print Quality Report or Print Diagnostic Page.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that the print settings on your computer match the type of document you are printing. For example, if you are printing a photo, make sure the paper type and quality settings are set appropriately.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Sometimes, performing a hard reset can resolve printing issues.
    1. Turn on the printer.
    2. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
    3. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
    4. Wait for 60 seconds.
    5. Plug the power cord back into the power source and the printer.
    6. Turn on the printer.

Reinstall the Printer Software:

  • Uninstall the current printer software and reinstall it to ensure there are no corrupted files causing the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
