Hi @Nella5
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy 6055 is printing multiple copies continuously, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
Check Print Settings: Before sending a print job, check the print settings on your iPhone or Mac to ensure that multiple copies are not selected by default.
- On iPhone: When you print, tap the options before printing to make sure "Copies" is set to 1.
- On macOS: In the print dialog, look for a "Copies" field and set it to 1.
Clear Print Queue: Open the print queue on your device and cancel any stuck print jobs.
- On macOS: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click Open Print Queue to manage jobs.
- On iPhone: You might not have direct access to the print queue, but cancel any jobs from the print settings in the app you are using.
Reset Printing System (macOS):
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click (or Control-click) in the printer list and select Reset printing system. This will remove all printers, so you will need to re-add your HP Envy 6055.
Update Drivers: Ensure your printer drivers are up to date. Check for updates in the HP Smart app or the HP website.
Check for Software Updates: Ensure that both your iPhone and macOS are up to date, as software updates can resolve printing issues.
Try a Different App: If the issue persists, try printing from a different app to see if the problem is app-specific.
Restart Devices: Restart both your printer and your iPhone or Mac to reset any connections.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
