Hi @Sue845,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 6000e printer showing as offline, the issue is often related to network connectivity or the printer's settings. Follow these steps to resolve it:

Step 1: Check Printer and Network Status

Ensure the Printer is On
Confirm that the printer is powered on and not in sleep mode. If it's in sleep mode, press the power button to wake it up.

Check Wi-Fi Connection
Ensure the printer's Wi-Fi indicator is solid blue, indicating it is connected to your network.

  • If the light is blinking, reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi:
    • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the light starts blinking.
    • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or phone and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect.

Restart Devices

  • Turn off your printer, computer, and router.
  • Wait for 2 minutes, then turn on the router first. Once it stabilizes, turn on the printer and your computer.

Step 2: Set Printer as Default

  1. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your HP ENVY 6000e printer and select Set as Default Printer.

Step 3: Check Printer Status

  1. In Devices and Printers, right-click your printer and choose See what’s printing.
  2. Click Printer in the menu bar and ensure:
    • Use Printer Offline is unchecked.
    • Pause Printing is unchecked.
