Hi @Krishanu2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Smart Tank 520 stops working after printing a few pages and all the lights start blinking. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

1. Check Printer Connections

Make sure the USB or network cable (if wired) is firmly connected.

If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is within range of your router and no interference is present.

Try switching to a different USB port or connecting to another device to rule out port issues.

2. Restart Printer and PC

Turn off the printer and unplug it from power for 30 seconds.

Restart your computer and the printer.

Check if the issue occurs again after printing 2–3 pages.

3. Check Ink Levels and Cartridges

Low or empty ink cartridges can cause the printer to stop mid-job.

Remove each cartridge, reinsert firmly, and check for proper installation.

If any cartridge shows error, replace it.

4. Update Firmware and Drivers

Open HP Smart or HP Support Assistant on your PC.

Check for printer firmware updates and install them.

Also, ensure your printer driver is up-to-date for Windows 11.

5. Clear Print Queue

Sometimes a stuck document can cause blinking lights.

Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers → HP Smart Tank 520 → See what’s printing → Cancel all documents.

Restart the printer and try printing again.

6. Check for Overheating or Internal Errors

After printing 2–3 pages, the printer may pause to cool down or detect an internal error.

Make sure the printer is on a flat, ventilated surface.

Remove any paper jams or debris inside the printer.

I hope this helps.
