Hi @Grek1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 10.02.21 - Memory Error on Dedicated indicates that your HP printer is experiencing an issue with a memory module, often related to toner cartridges or additional memory installed in the printer. Here's how you can troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

Steps to Resolve Error 10.02.21:

Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect it from the power source and wait for 1-2 minutes.
  • Reconnect the printer and turn it back on.
  • Check if the error persists.

Check the Toner Cartridge

Open the printer and inspect the toner cartridge.

Ensure that the cartridge is:

  • Properly seated in its slot.
  • Compatible with your printer model.
  • Free from damage or wear.

Remove and reinstall the cartridge to ensure a secure connection.

If you recently replaced the toner cartridge, try using a different one to rule out compatibility issues.

Inspect the Printer's DIMM or Memory Module

  • If your printer supports additional memory, ensure that the DIMM (Dual Inline Memory Module) is installed correctly.
  • Remove the DIMM and clean its connectors with a lint-free cloth (if applicable).
  • Reinsert the DIMM firmly.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit the HP Support website and check for the latest firmware updates for your printer model.
  • Install any available updates to ensure compatibility and stability.

Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults

  • Resetting the printer can clear memory and configuration issues:
    • Navigate to the Settings menu on your printer.
    • Choose Restore Factory Defaults or a similar option.
    • Confirm and restart the printer.

Replace the Memory Module or Toner Cartridge

  • If the error persists after the above steps, the memory module or the toner cartridge might be defective.
  • Replace them with a genuine HP part to ensure proper functioning.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
