HP Ink Tank Wireless 416
iOS

Hi, I purchased a HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 and  I don’t use it frequently in fact, I haven't finished the ink that came with the purchest. Yesterday, when I attempted to print some documents, I noticed that the Printhead Alert light and the Resume light were both illuminated in a steady amber color. Additionally, the Wireless light (blue) and Wi-Fi Direct light (white) were also on. However, the Power button light remains off regardless of any action taken. I’ve tried restarting and disconnecting the printer, but the issue persists (the printer doesn’t start on) and the lights remain fixed from the start

Try the following steps:

Power Reset

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for 5-10 minutes and then plug it back in.
  • Press the Power button and see if it turns on.

Check for Paper Jams

  • Open the printer cover and check if there is any jammed paper inside.
  • Remove any debris or stuck paper carefully.

Reseat the Printheads

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Open the printhead access door.
  • Remove and reinsert the printheads securely.
  • Close the cover and try turning the printer back on.

Check Power Adapter & Connection

  • Ensure you're using the original HP power adapter.
  • Try a different power outlet to rule out electrical issues.
