Good afternoonI have an HP OfficeJet 3833 printer, but it no longer prints. All documents are queued. It only prints from my mobile.

@Melissa-83, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
If your HP OfficeJet 3833 is printing from your mobile but not from your PC, and documents are stuck in the print queue, it’s likely a communication or driver issue. Let’s walk through some steps to get it working again:

Restart Printer and PC

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from power.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Clear the Print Queue

  • On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP OfficeJet 3833 and select See what's printing.
  • Cancel all documents in the queue.

Set the Correct Printer as Default

  • In Devices and Printers, right-click your HP OfficeJet 3833 and choose Set as default printer.
  • Make sure it’s not listed as “Offline” or “Paused”.

Reinstall the Printer Driver

Sometimes reinstalling the driver resolves communication issues:

  • Uninstall the printer from Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Download and install the full driver/software package: Official HP® Support

Check Connection Type

  • If using Wi-Fi, ensure both printer and PC are on the same network.
  • If using USB, try a different USB port and cable.

Additional Tips

  • Try printing a test page from the printer’s control panel to confirm hardware is working.
  • Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software that might block communication.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
