If your printer frequently experiences paper jams, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

Turn off the Printer:

  • Power off your printer to avoid any possible damage while clearing the jam.

Remove Visible Paper:

  • Remove all media from the trays. Pull out any paper that is visibly stuck.

Access Internal Parts:

  • If your printer has protective covers or panels, remove them to reach and clear any jammed paper inside.

Clear Paper Path:

  • Check the paper path and remove any scraps of paper that could be causing the jam.

Check Rollers:

  • Inspect the rollers for any debris or damage. Clean them if necessary.

Reinstall Paper:

  • Reload the paper properly. Ensure the paper is aligned and not curled or folded.

Warranty Information

Regarding warranty expiration, HP warranties typically start from the purchase date.
