HP ENVY 6458e All-in-One Printer

My printer is printing blank pages, or the test page only includes faint colors. The ink is full, and app is reading everything is fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

I understand your HP ENVY 6458e All-in-One Printer might be dealing with a few common issues. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:
 

Check Printhead Nozzles:

  • Perform a printhead cleaning through the HP Smart app or your printer’s control panel. This can help clear any clogged nozzles.

Check for Ink Cartridge Issues:

  • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and securely seated. Sometimes, even if the ink levels are fine, improperly installed cartridges can cause issues.
  • Remove the cartridges and gently clean the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth.

Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can usually find firmware updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website.

Run Printer Diagnostics:

  • Use the built-in diagnostic tools in the HP Smart app to check for any specific issues.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

Check Print Settings:

  • Make sure the print settings are set to print in color. Sometimes, if the settings are incorrect, the printer might print blank pages or only partial content.

Inspect the Printhead:

  • If the printhead is removable, gently clean it with a lint-free cloth and distilled water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it.

Test Different Paper Types:
