I understand your HP DeskJet 3637 is able to print the demo/test page but won’t print your selected documents. Let’s go through some steps to troubleshoot this:

 

Check Printer Status

Make sure the printer is online and there are no error lights.

On Windows, go to Settings → Devices → Printers & scanners → HP DeskJet 3637 → Open queue.

If it says Paused or Offline, click Resume or Set as default printer.

 

Clear Print Queue

In the print queue window, select all pending jobs and Cancel them.

Try printing a document again.

 

Restart Printer & Computer

Turn off the printer and unplug it for 30 seconds, then power it back on.

Restart your computer and try printing again.

 

Check Document Format

Sometimes specific file types (like PDF or Word) may cause issues.

Try printing a simple text file or a different PDF to see if it works.

 

Update / Reinstall Printer Driver

Visit HP Support and download the latest driver for DeskJet 3637.

Uninstall the existing driver first, then reinstall the new one.

 

Check Connection Type

If using wireless, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

For USB, try a different port or cable.

 

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

HP provides a free tool that automatically diagnoses and fixes printing issues.

Download it from HP’s official site and run it on your PC.

 

Test Printing from Another Device

If possible, try printing from a smartphone or another computer.

This helps determine if the issue is with the printer or the computer.
