Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Please check this article for more information: "HPxxxxx.framework" will damage your computer" message in macOS Catalina or Mojave .

My printer stopped printing black

HP Recommended
HP Officejet Pro 6830
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just bought a new set of HP colored and black ink cartridges. After I have installed them, my printer does not print black anymore.  I have automatically cleaned the printer head and remove the printer software and have it re-installed as suggested by HP online support, but it did help. Did anyone have similar issues? Can you share any suggestions to fix the problem? Thanks!

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
