My printer will not continue with set up until I agree to a paper plan. What should I do if I would rather purchase paper from a store?

@Tee123, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I assume you are referring to the Instant Ink service. Are you setting up the printer for the first time?

To know how Instant Ink works, refer to this document 

Make sure you are not using HP Instant Ink cartridges.

 

Do you get any errors? Is it on the computer screen?

Or, do you have any blinking lights on the printer?

Press the information button to check the printer status.
