My printer will not finish the bootup process.

HP Recommended
HP Envy Photo 7855
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer won't boot up.  I have tried unplugging/replugging- holding down power button- it won't do anything.  Occasionally HP volunteers to private message how to do a hard reset.  I assume that's what I need.  How is this done?  Thanks.
