@j-47, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I see that you're unable to print from your HP Photosmart 7525 printer, does it mean you're experiencing print quality issues?

 

If yes, print a quality diagnostic report-

  1. Load plain, white paper in the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, touch the Settings icon 

  3. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

    The printer prints the Print Quality Diagnostic report.

If the report is defective, follow the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues.

 

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Try Printing.
