Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Please check this article for more information: "HPxxxxx.framework" will damage your computer" message in macOS Catalina or Mojave .

NEW printhead failure

HP Recommended
OfficeJet Pro 8630
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just installed brand new, genuine HP printhead in my 8630 and only color that prints is cyan (and it prints perfectly!). I have been through all the recalibration, printhead cleaning, printhead alignment routines with no success. All genuine HP print cartridges are nearly full. Have I just wasted $160?

This could be an issue with the installed print head or the printer ink system.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Color or Black Ink is Not Printing and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
