Hi @Pelicann

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The flashing "E" and "0" on your HP DeskJet 2755e printer typically indicate an issue with the ink cartridges or printer configuration.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

1. Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the printer's cartridge access door and ensure the cartridges are properly seated and securely clicked into place.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure proper connection.
  • If the cartridges are empty or damaged, replace them with genuine HP cartridges.

2. Inspect for Paper Jams:

  • Open the input and output trays and check for paper jams. Gently remove any jammed paper, ensuring no small bits are left behind.
  • Inspect and clean the paper feed rollers if necessary.

3. Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

4. Run HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer or smartphone.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and resolve the issue. If the app prompts you to update the printer firmware, do so.

5. Update Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support Community to check for firmware updates for your printer model. Updating the firmware can resolve configuration issues.

6. Restore Factory Defaults:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to "Setup" > "Printer Maintenance" > "Restore Factory Defaults."
  • After resetting, reconnect the printer to your network and HP account.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
