In Office jet Pro 8600, after replacing depleted Magenta ink with genuine HP 951XL Magenta Z10 cartridge, printer showing "Printer Failure: problem with the printer or ink system." This error message goes away when I put the old/depleted cartridge back in, which is also a Z10. I've completed all trouble shooting steps. 

 

After reading up, the printer may benefit from "regionalization reset" that can only be completed by HP support yet I cannot seem to get in contact with HP directly. How can I get help for this?

Welcome to the HP Support.

 

I will be more than happy to help you out here.

 

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions.

 

1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.

3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
