Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I gave my mom my printer and now I can’t get it to connect to her WiFi. It’s not even discoverable after downloading the software on her computer. I even tried adding it with the IP address and that didn’t work either. Please help.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to connect the printer to a network.

 

To assist better -

  1.  What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  2. Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network or public network?
  3. I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
  4. Is there antivirus software installed on your Mac?
  5. What is the distance between the router and the printer?
