Hp Envy Photo 6235

Hi all

I purchased this printer 3 days ago and bought the hp 303 black and tricolour cartridges too.

I am printing a document for my business which is 9 page PDF, with a couple of colour pictures (3 or 4) and the rest is black font. There is just one small red footer bar for aesthetics across the bottom.

I used the starter cartridges initially and got 4 copies of my document printed because the tricolour became low. I then put the brand new tricolor cartridge in once the colour wasn't right.

I have printed 4 more copies of my 9 page document and the last copy is completely terrible. The magenta and yellow have completely ran out!

I cleaned the heads and the test page show its empty.

Now, the yield for these cartridges is 165 pages according to the box. Bare in mind the black cartridge is still the startup cartridge and is showing full.

Are we looking at a fault here? Because 20 pages for £20 cartridge is crazy to me!

Should I go back to Curry's where I purchased it?

Hello,

The only thing i'd suggest after reading the issue is that , you may have to Contact HP Support.

I guess you are in UK, if so than use the below URL to contact HP.
