New hp deskjet 3760 ink carriage holder wont come to centre

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Help! Cant get ink cartridges to load into my new printer, the holder is way off to the left out of sight, and printer control panel is showing E3.

If the warranty is still valid contact HP support using the printer serial #.
