Hp Officejet 8022.

Just bought it and upon setup, the printer became stuck with "printing alignment page" on the screen. Nothing is happening. There is brand new ink in the device and paper. No foreign objects are present either. 

 

Is there a way to fix this, or should I get my money back?

I see that the printer is in an error state, I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document Alignment Errors to isolate and resolve the issue.

 

If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
