Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

My HP Photosmart printer has stopped working. I keep getting error message 0.610000f6. I've tried Googling this and followed all the suggested steps to fix the issue but I still can't get my printer to work. I've tried to reach out to an HP Agent, but nothing on the HP website will give me the number because my warranty expired in 2017. Am I really not able to contact HP Customer Service for technical support because my warranty expired? I'm not asking to return the printer. I'm just looking for some additional assistance. Does HP really not offer assistance once the warranty expires? What if my printer can actually be fixed but I just can't figure out how to do it on my own? Am I going to have to buy a new printer just because I can't speak to anyone over there to get some help? And if so, is there anyone in this community who could offer assistance before I start looking for a new printer to buy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
