Hi,

this post is related to another post from me, where I mentioned 2 problems.
My red/blue issue turned now into a complete blue missing issue.
In my opinion the colour nozzles are free. Contacts seem to be ok.

Here is, what I have done after 'Cleaning via printer menu' didn't show ANY effect.

1) I pulled all ink cartridges.

2) I interrupted the power supply so the print head stays in the middle

3) I moved the print head to the left and put a tissue (lint free below)

4) I covered all colours except the blue and blew in (through a tissue piece to reduce the air speed) with a contact cleaner spray.

5) I had released blue ink on my tissue- so the ink channels seem to be free.

6) I removed all tissues which I used to cover the 'good' colours and removed the tissue below printer head. Then I installed all cartridges, moved the head into the standard position for cartridge change and switched the printer on.

7) Next cleaning procedure of printhead shows again NO BLUE colour. So it seems it is an electronic issue.

I used  WÜRTH CONTACT SPRAY Art.:0890 100.

Any more idea, what might be the problem?

Printer age is approx 5 years - maybe it's time to by a new one ?

Regards,
Jörg
