This is my first month in the 50 pages per month plan, and I have already been sent replacement cartridges. Impressed. But I have a question.
In my account status it shows that I have used 43 of the 50 pages allowed for the month (which ends Oct 12).
However, I have four months free, obtained with a special offer when I purchased the printer.
The page also states that "No charges for up to 300 pages per month during Free Trial months." Grab below.
However, if I hover over my plan usage, a pop up reminds me that my: "plan provides 50 pages per month", so which is it? 300 pages per month or 50? Grab below.

Hey @breweruk
Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I hope you enjoy your time here.
I understand that you are having an issue with your Instant Ink account. I'd like to assist with that.
Without viewing your account information, it is hard to give specifics but I will explain how it works. With the Instant Ink program, free months are different than a trial period. If you have a 3 month trial period and 1 free month, you are able to print up to the 300 pages without an additional charge.
Since you enrolled into the 50 page plan, you will still receive notifications as normal to let you know when you have reached your page count for the current plan that you are on, but it will continue to allow you to print with no additional charges until you reach the 300 pages. Once you hit the 300 pages you will see charges for additional pages at that point. That is all still based on your current plan that you are enrolled into.
Free months only cover the plan you are enrolled into, not the 300 pages unless you were to upgrade to 300 pages.
If you would like me to look at your account specifically please send me a private message with your account information.

Hi LegallyBlonde, thanks for the reply. I guess my uncertainty was whether, having signed up for the 50-page plan, I was entitled to the 'trial' status, and whether my months with the opening offer were classed as 'free'. But I will take up your invitation to message you my account details so you can look into it for me. Much appreciated. David

Hi,
I am at the end of my free trial and I realise I do not need to print as much as I though so wanted to drop from the paid plane to the FREE 15 pages plan and just pay for any extra that I use of over that but it is not showing as an option on my Instant Ink plan? Can you help please?
Thanks
Greer
