Printer not printing color. Took out & reinstalled Printhead a couple of times and installed all new ink cartridges even though old color cartridges full. Printhead cleanings in toolbox screen on device poor and said need new printhead at end of process. My "maintain Your Printer" readout says printhead health "good" and ink's all there.  Diagnostic page I printed says, "Printhead calibration confidence level: 0". Black is ok, but no color showing up at all on "Ink level". Ink status is "ready". Also, several attempts to align failed. Printer making noises I'm not familiar with. On top of the color ink problem did I mess something up taking out the printhead and putting it back in? This wasn't difficult & locked back into place easily.  I did gently wipe it off with a moist lint-free cloth. Do I need a new printhead and/or is there something else going on? Please advise.

Hi @Jolo4,

I read the post, I understand that you're facing an issue with color cartridge not being detected.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
