Hi,

 

Can someone help me we have a ongoing issue. We have E786dn machine that has no display in control panel but has a power. Confirmed that the power button has light and the heart is at green, but still no response or display on the control panel, please see below troubleshooting we did:

 

*Replace control panel

*Replace LVPS

*Replace formatter
*Replace HDD

 

NOTE: the machines was able to ping but unable to remote the EWS.

First question, did you replace with new unused parts or used parts? Some components are locked to the machine and cannot be swapped.

 

Did you use the test button on the back of the control panel first to see if the panel worked? Was the yellow status light on the formatter flashing? If so, then that indicates a communication issue caused by either the formatter or the control panel. 

 

Proper trouble shooting for the formatter is to remove all components and reinstall the formatter and see if the device starts. if it does, replace components one at a time until you find the component that prevents start up.
