No ho setup cartridge and light button

I got a hp envy photo 7155 printer a while ago and my husband threw away the setup cartridges that came with it or it wasn’t in the box when he threw it away. But know we are using it and we didn’t get to set up the printer till now. It doesn’t have a setup cartridge, the light buttons on the side of the screen isn’t visible and the back button only works. We tried setting up the printer and there’s an error that says we need to install a setup cartridge. How do I bypass this error with the button on the side? Can we buy a new setup cartridge for the printer? Or do we need to buy a whole new printer again.

If you reset your Inkjet printer, it is possible the printer may ask that you insert setup cartridges. This is a major problem as those cartridges are designed to be used until empty and then discarded.
