Go printer M681 when i press power the power button lights up for about 3 seconds but nothing happens after that can see a green light blinking on board near hard drive

1.  Is the control panel display is completely blank (no LEDs illuminated or no back light)?  Listen for fans or any printer initialization sounds when the power is turned on.  Any fans or motors running?   Fans and motors working confirm that power supply is working.  make sure printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet.

2.  Remove power cable.  Remove all of the components/accessories installed on the formatter (for example, hard drive, solid-state drive, memory DIMM(s), fax PCA, network PCA, USB devices, or other devices).  Reconnect power and boot up printer.  Does printer boot up?  Control panel on?

3.  If the printer control panel is properly working, replace each removed component (one at a time) to determine which one is causing the problem.

4.  f the control panel display is still blank after performing the above troubleshooting steps, replace the formatter.

Thank you.  Low Voltage Power supply, RM2-8421-000CN, would be the most likely part that has failed.  Power supply feeds the DC Control board which runs your fans, motors and sensors.  If your control panel or formatter failed, printer engine should still run.  You will have to replace low voltage power supply to confirm failure or to continue troubleshooting.  Good luck.
