Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can print from my android phone. I have 2 Windows 10 pc's, both of which I used to be able to print, but now neither works. The paper still gets prompted and comes through but is blank.

The printer & PC diagnostics both say no issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling on pc and the printer has all updates.

It makes no difference whether using wifi or usb cable.

All Windows updates are installed.

Ran the extended test which incidentally was easy to do. It made me realise that the problem was with the black cartridge. Despite always using genuine cartridge from HP it wasn't working properly. Swapped the cartridge and works fine.

Makes you wonder why you should spend the extra on genuine cartridges!

The cartridge is provided with its limited warranty, If the cartridge is still within its warranty period, you may go back with the cartridge to the point of purchase and send the cartridge to HP to claim its warranty:
