Hi @Keith2559,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet 4152e is not printing on the paper even though the cartridges are not empty, try the following troubleshooting steps.
Check Cartridge Alignment and Print Quality:
- Go to your printer’s settings or use the HP Smart app to perform a print head alignment and a print quality check. This might help resolve any issues with the ink not being properly applied to the paper.
Clean the Printhead:
- Access the printhead cleaning option through the printer’s menu or the HP Smart app. Sometimes, dried ink or debris can block the printhead and cause print issues.
Verify Ink Cartridge Installation:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed and properly seated in their slots. Remove them and reinstall to ensure they are secure.
Check for Paper Jam:
- Inspect the paper path for any obstructions or jammed paper. Even small bits of paper or debris can cause printing issues.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit HP’s official website to download and install any updates if necessary.
Print a Test Page:
- Print a test page from the printer’s settings or the HP Smart app. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer itself or the computer connection.
Reset the Printer:
- Perform a hard reset on your printer. Turn it off, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. Check the HP website for any available firmware updates and follow their instructions to update your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
