Hi @ESMoore,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code OXC4EB827F on your HP OfficeJet 4635 indicates a hardware issue that is often related to the printer’s internal components. Since the printer isn’t responding to power cycling, here are some steps you can try.

Reset the Printer:

  • Power Off and Unplug: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Replug: Plug the power cord back in while the printer is still off.
  • Power On: Press the power button to turn the printer on.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that all cables are securely connected and not damaged.

Inspect for Paper Jams:

  • Open all accessible compartments and check for any paper jams or foreign objects that could be causing the error.

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges to ensure they are seated properly.

Firmware Update:

  • Sometimes updating the printer’s firmware can resolve issues. Check HP’s website for the latest firmware for your model.

Factory Reset:

  • If the printer is responsive enough, try performing a factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

These are all suggestions that are found in the FAQ, which I mentioned that I had already tried. Each power on power off cycle produced the same error message.. The only thing that ended up working was that I manually moved the cartridge head a tiny bit which caused it to move to center and the error code to clear.
