Office jet pro 6968 error code 0xc19a0020. Any idea what the problem is?

Here's what you can try to resolve it:

Power Reset:

• Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait 60 seconds.
• Plug it back in, turn it on, and check if the error persists.

Reinstall Ink Cartridges:

• Open the printer cover, remove each cartridge, and inspect them for any visible ink buildup or damage.
• Gently clean the copper contacts on each cartridge with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.
• Allow the contacts to dry, then reinsert the cartridges and close the printer cover.

Check and Clean the Printhead:

• Some HP printers allow you to remove the printhead. Check your printer’s manual to see if it’s possible with the 6968 model.
• If removable, carefully remove the printhead, clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and carriage, and reinstall it.

Update Firmware:  Update the firmware on an HP printer

• If possible, update the printer firmware. Firmware updates can resolve known issues and improve printer performance. Go to HP’s website to download and install the latest firmware for your printer model.

Reset the Printer:
