My printer has stopped printing in anything but black. this apply to all computer in our house and when making copies from the printer itself even when explicitly setting it to make a color copy. I have tried reinstalling my drivers, doing a factory reset on the printer and replacing the color ink cartridges. I have also tried cleaning and aligning the print-heads, when it prints the test pages they are only in black also. I am subscribed to instant ink for this printer and a firmware update was pushed to it recently I think. I was going to try updating the firmware on the printer to a firmware dated July 15 2020 but when I tried it said it was already installed. the last time I was able to print color was 3 weeks ago. we don't use it much during the summer since we really only have it for the kids during school for report and the like. I hope some one can help.

I am pretty mad that it looks like HP pushed a firmware that has ruined my printer especially since I have been telling my coworkers for the last 2 years how great it is to not have to worry about running out of ink and about how great this printer works.

I have sent you the info you requested in a reply to your DM.
However I highly Doubt that the issue is the ink. the problem started before I replaced the ink. it seems to me that the issue is due to a bad firmware upgrade that was pushed out to my printer by HP. I have concluded this because the printer worked fine before the update but not after and the firmware update was the only variable besides time. I put new ink that hp had sent me in after the issue started in an attempt to fix the printer already.
