Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

We have followed the steps in other threads regarding cleaning and resetting with no luck. The system shows to replace the Black cartridge so we replace it. Once it starts up again it shows two more cartridges need to be replaced so those get replaced. Then it shows  black again or the remaining color to be replaced. There is a never ending loop of replacing cartridges in a 5 minute window of replacing the requested cartridges. The printer is only 4 years old, is it time to replace?
