Hi @HV1,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the error code 62.80.A0 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 All-in-One Printer usually indicates an issue with the printhead or a printhead alignment problem. Here are some steps to help resolve it:

1. Turn off and unplug the printer

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the electrical outlet for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and power it on.

2. Remove and clean the printhead

  • Open the printer's access door to expose the printhead and cartridges.
  • Gently remove the printhead.
  • Clean the printhead contacts (on both the printhead and inside the printer) using a soft, lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water. Avoid using abrasive materials.

3. Reinstall the printhead

  • After cleaning, carefully reinsert the printhead and ensure it’s properly seated.
  • Close the access door.

4. Check the ink cartridges

  • Make sure that all ink cartridges are properly installed and that none are empty or damaged.
  • If necessary, replace any low or empty cartridges.

5. Perform a printhead alignment

  • From the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead. Follow the prompts to align the printhead.

6. Update or reinstall printer drivers

  • Ensure that your printer driver is up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • If necessary, uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.

7. Reset the printer

  • If the error persists, try a factory reset:
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously until the reset process starts.
    • Follow the prompts to complete the reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
