OfficeJet Pro 8600 printhead error

HP Recommended
OfficeJet Pro 8600
Continually receive the error "The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed."

Tried all the troubleshooting steps: reset printer (unplug while on, wait 60 sec), cleaned and reseated printhead.  Reseated cartridges.  Repeated many times. At the moment, unable to check/reinstall firmware, as WiFi network has changed, so the printer is no longer connected to the WiFi.

Please share the advanced/hard reset instructions, as referred to multiple times in other threads about this same error (I'm not sure why these haven't been shared/posted publicly...)

Hi @FloridaPrint

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
