I was trying to enroll my printer onto Instant Ink, but I kept getting a message that I was not connected to the internet, even though I was.  The computer and the printer both had a legitimate IP address, but I couldn't connect.  I went to the control panel of the printer and the options to restore to factory defaults as well as the restore network settings were locked out, by me at some time in the past, I assume.

I am lost.  I don't know how to unlock the printer and restore the factory settings to try and get the thing onto Instant Ink.  Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I watched the suggested video and performed a partial reset on the printer.  I turned it back on after a couple of minutes and started the setup process.  It printed the alignment sheet and asked me to connect to update firmware and connect to Instant Ink.  I pushed ok.  It then went to a solid blue screen with an odd-looking icon, kinda like a power icon, and displayed the message 007C9C98 and would not turn off with the power button.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi @rabrnbsn

Ok, then try again but select a Semi-Full Reset to restart the functionality of the printer.

So, since it is frozen and the power button is of no use, I just unplug it then run the semi-full reset again to get it to work?  Thanks for all of your help.
