Hello all, I need some advice.
I am experiencing a problem with to my OfficeJet 7510 in that a 'Door Open' error message is showing on the main display on the printer itself, while all access doors are confirmed closed. I have attempted to clear this error by opening and reclosing all access doors on the printer, without success. I am also unable to send any print jobs to the printer, i.e. a test page, as an error message appears stating that a cartridge change is in progress. I have attempted a reset of the printer to no avail.
Could someone point me to where the door proximity sensor is located on this model, so that I can check to see if there is damage or obstruction?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

Hi @Madmart,
I'd like to help!
Try the below suggestions-

NOTE:
To see how to close the cartridge door of your specific model, see the cartridge section of your product's User Guide.

If these steps resolved the issue, there is no need to continue troubleshooting
Check the cartridge door for obstructions
-
Inspect the door and the area around it to make sure that no obstructions prevent the door from closing completely.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
Follow the instructions below to reach them:
1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
