Officejet 7740 A3 printing wrong size

HP Recommended
Officejet 7740
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The printer uses tray 2 with the a3 paper but for some reason it shrinks the image down in the preview. And prints it in a smaller size then the original file. The image file size is exactly a3. Trying to print using HP Smart. I think HP Smart does not read the image as A3 size but something smaller

Edit: can succesfully print trough photoshop on a3 paper with the correct size.

@ijzzbloc, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print an A3 image from the HP Smart app. Have you tried reinstalling the HP Smart app?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
