Same here... Office won't print to the HP6830 unless I run it in admin mode... All other printers work fine!

Run office as admin is only a workaround - problem needs still to be fixed!

HP Support have to fix this software problem (driver problem)

Hello @PaulVII , and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see you have issues printing. I'd be happy to try and assist!

Are you connected wirelessly?  If so, I would recommend trying to install via a USB cable.

I would also suggest creating a new user account, and trying from there:

Create a user account

Another recommendation I would make would be to check your printers folder, and see what is selected as the default.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

The paper goes through blank. The ink cartridges are full and seated in their holder. Why won't it print?

If your HP Printer won't print without granting admin rights to the application try this:

Grant the Users group Full Control to the Temp directory (%TEMP%) - for me it works fine. It seems to be a problem with UAC.  see also this Posts:

Note that Ted is using Windows 7 32-bit. My laptop is also running the same OS and having the same problem printing with MS Office 2013, Acrobat DC, and Firefox. For some reason it is not a problem printing a webpage in  Internet Explorer. My other laptop running Windows 10 on the other hand has no problem printing from MS Office 2016 and Acrobat DC.

I believe the problem is the incompatibility of the Officejet 6800-series  driver with Windows 7 32-bit.

I have had an HPOficeprintProo6830 since June 13, 2016 and started having problems with it printing for a couple of weeks.  Some times it would print and other times it would not.  It has been a few days now that it will not print from my computer.  It will print as directed from the printer itself; but not do a print from my Dell Computer.  I have tried to reinstall; but it has not made a difference.

Yea, this printer (and the one I had before it) are a piece of junk.  I have bought HP printers for at least 20 years because of their quality, but the last two have been junk.  They won't print, I have to constantly reset the printer or unplug it or take the cartridges out or a number of other things.  At least 50% of the time, none of those things work so I end up spending 1/2 day trying to get it to print and then send my stuff to Kinko's.
