Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just started today, the Officejet Pro 8020 series All-In-One printer suddenly and randomly goes to a blank display screen (all white) and the power indicator flashes white, the wifi button flashes blue, and 3 icons on the front display also all flash.  I either have to unplug the printer, or hold down the power button until it shuts itself off and turns itself back on.  This has happened several times in one day.   Why is this happening and how do I fix it without having to do either of the 2 aforementioned tasks?
