The touchpad flashes off and on then shows a blue screen displaying error message. After unplugging and plugging back in multiple times, it continuously shows error codes, however the error codes are not always the same.

Hi @Ctt3375,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting the error code D8121348 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025, along with the blue screen and touchpad flashing on and off, which suggests a hardware or firmware issue. Since the error codes change, it could be related to the printer’s internal memory, a corrupted firmware update, or a hardware malfunction.
Steps to Troubleshoot the Issue:
Power Reset:
- Unplug the printer from the power source.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on. This helps to clear any temporary memory issues.
Firmware Update: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- If the printer powers on without immediately showing an error, check for firmware updates:
- Open the HP Smart app or access the printer settings through your PC.
- Navigate to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update the Firmware.
- Follow the prompts to install any available updates.
Check Power Source:
- Ensure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a power strip, which might cause voltage issues.
Hard Reset:
- Disconnect all cables, including the USB and Ethernet (if applicable).
- Turn off the printer and unplug it again.
- Hold the Power button for 15-30 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and try powering it on again.
