Hi. Please help. I have been gifted a printer off my brother. I've bought printer expert compatible ink but all I get is the cartridge problem error. I've followed the reinstall procedures but still having problems.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.

  • Are you using HP ink cartridges?
  • Does the error indicate which ink cartridge is defective?
  • You may insert once ink cartridge at a time and check for the error.

For now, kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.
