Try these steps:
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds to ensure it fully powers down.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check for Hardware Issues:
- Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and seated correctly.
- Open the cartridge access door and check for any visible obstructions or cartridge alignment issues.
- Make sure the printer lid is securely closed.
Check for Firmware Updates:
Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.
Reset the Printer:
- Sometimes a reset can resolve such error codes.
- With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- This tool will help diagnose and automatically fix common printing and scanning problems.
Check for Software Issues:
- Ensure your printer driver is up-to-date.
- Reinstall the printer software by downloading the latest version from the HP Support website.
