Hi @tchipman

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand the printer is not connected to the PC or the iOS device. I'd be happy to assist you.

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports 2.4 and 5GHz networks. So, the PC should be connected to the same network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

To redo the network settings on the printer, go to Setup > Network > Restore network settings.

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network > Enter the password.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Once we figured out that the computer we were trying to install the 7155 on did not have a wireless card, we tried it on my wife's new HP laptop. That worked fine. Like you said though, it needs to be on same network otherwise it won't see it. Thank you very much. Our HP desk top might be too old  (HP Pro 3100 series I think) to make it work. We'll probably buy a newer HP desk top.........doesn't have to be fancy........ just for browsing and email, maybe some videos etc.  (Windows 10) with a card so we can use the app like my wife's laptop. We tried a usb for wireless..........that didn't work either........then the computer wouldn't open. Reverted to a version before and uninstalled the ENVY software .....so there you go. Thanks for your help.
